It's the same as any other bulletin board software. It doesn't matter what type of computer you have. All computers, Mac or PC ... any computer works the same.
Your images must reside somewhere else on the web, like in an account like photobucket - http://photobucket.com
Once you know the URL for your image, it will be (without the spaces)
http: // photobucket.com/ yourgalleryname/ yourimagename. jpg
Then all you do is click the IMG button up top 2x to make the opening and closing image tags... and copy and paste the address of your image in between the img tags
so it would look like this (without the spaces)
[ img] http: // photobucket.com/ yourgalleryname/ yourimagename. jpg [/ img]
.....
Now, if that doesn't help, please give me a link to the site or sites where you have no problem posting an image so I can see what you're used to.
Thanks!

Ok, so on myspace, you can upload from your own computer?
That means they host the images at myspace.
Unless this discussion board software in the future has plans to add an upload image feature, it won't change here (unless I can find a modification or something to the software. I can look).
In the future, though, there will be the new part of the site where you will be able to upload entire galleries of images from your own computer. But they will appear in the new area of the site, not here on the discussion boards.
Here's what you should do, mark.
Go to http://photobucket.com
Open a free account.
When you're in your free account there, you can upload all your images to your photobucket account from your own computer, similarly to how you do it at myspace. You browse, you find the image on your mac, you push upload.
After you have a gallery of images there, then come back to this thread and read my post above. Each of your images in your photobucket gallery will have an address... a URL. Then you just use our bulletin board img code to put the address in your posting window.
It may seem complicated because you have to use another site to store the images, but after you've created your gallery over at photobucket, believe me, it's really very easy!
I can help you more with it after you get the gallery together, OK?
First thing is to get the free account and upload all the images you want to share.

I know you said you were too lazy to use photobucket, but that's the only way to do it... to store your images somewhere on the web and photobucket is free.
Think of it this way... once you have a photobucket account where your images are stored, you can post them on any discussion board on the internet, not just here. You can post them on poetryinbaltimore, for instance. Or other sites that you go to that don't have upload features.

OK. For YOU?
I'm looking into adding this.
http://www.postimage.org/mod.php
We'll see.
Gotta get someone to install it for me and see if it works.
