I want Andy Rooney's Job.

Five minutes per week? Full benefits. What's not to like?

Of course it may take five days to write five minutes worth of commentary or cleverness.

He has taken complaining to the level of artform.
I wouldn't whine as much as Andy, but I think I could give the skeptic's view.

Andy is approaching retirement. After he complains about the travails of retirement, I want his job.

I do a great curmudgeon.

Is Sunday prime time network television ready for Lightning Rod? You're a natural, no question. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong century, but there are only so many of them, and oh the explosion of technology in the last generation or two, and both network 'n cable TV aren't necessarily important technological advances-- jury still out (or dead)-- but I imagine the paychecks have always been pretty good...

no idea who´s Ronney but the ad sounds funny and somehow proper!!!!!!

some years ago my only ambition/desire was to have 15 kids in a class instead of 50!!!!!! this year it would be to have three less students but that sounds simply horrible... well...
