Jeu, Judih@ If you get an opportunity please invite Stephen Harper over to S8 and direct him to Sunday Streams. That would be a wonderful experience for both Steve and myself. (10 points! deposit in my ongoing S8 acc't, please...;)

I know your flight will be trouble free and the weather will safely guide you to Canada. Sounds like a wonderful time you'll be having and be sure to check in on those quiet moments with us non-travelers.

taken off and arrived
you are there
where it's green and beige and busy
where family bustles the hustle
where home-brewed hugs shine and sizzle
and where jet-lagged hours try to
find rooths while they go astray

have a good warm time, judih!
may your feet find inspiring footsteps to follow
and create new paths while they walk
and may your mind soar in peace and elation
and your heart expand with dna symphonies
and wondrous life creations

love and hugs

dna sympathies
symphonies
similarities

thank you anemone dear for such a marvellous blessing (benediction) poetic hug

it's all good. day 2 and still caught up in a whirl of absorbing cultural differences along with finding my feet.
early a.m.
comfort food to come (whole wheat cracker and coffee)
shower, exercise,
espresso
yesterday walked to the store to buy fresh beans, so supply's in stock.

travelled downtown by subway to visit Ahl. subway's changed - the ads warn about genital warts and cervical cancer - this is not the message i'm used to seeing. People are the same - lots of nationalities - heard that Toronto is number one city worldwide in cultural diversity.

met up with Ahl, walked through parks, talked of his latest discoveries, thoughts. met up with M, my sister-in-law, tried a skinny chai. Good - that skinny chai.
Visited, picked up D, her daughter, from the pier after her lifeguard job, and Larry, my brother, and went to their house. Fresh-squeezed lemonade, dinner from Zorba's, a little Blue Jays game. D and Ahl and 8 friends were at the game, but didn't see them on TV.

good day, tired.
all the stuff happened between the lines. The love, the goodness of these people.
as today unfolds

i just see you're here, j
up early morning
and it sounds like you're having a
warm symphony time indeed!

have a great day!

i'm about to leave to meet my brother in the city
to stroll and loaf
and to soak our feet in the city's small waterways along the streets
ice cream and musicians
and everyone will be flip-flopping around
slurping beer or coffee in the sunshine

that summer in the city thing!

more hugs to you

flip-flopping! sounds like tel aviv!
everyone here is in 3/4 pants, some leggings
precision hair-cuts (who knew?)
i feel seasick, though. i think the ground here is at a 30 degree angle.

have fun in town with your brother.

Hi, Judih... sounds like everything is off to a great time.

Keep up the energy... much rest between much activity. ;-)

"everyone here is in 3/4 pants" - are full-legged pants too expensive..?

"precision hair-cuts" - sounds very militant... but certainly couldn't be..?

...every time I read this topic I think of that song by the Presidents of the USA... "movin' out to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches"... any peaches out there?..
