hi mark,
i go to 'new posts' and then i start at the bottom of the list and work my way up.
if i make the mistake of doing that while unable to check the whole list, then i often miss new posts, so it's not the best method, but it's mine.

I used to start at Creative Writing and work out from there but not so much now. I start in ~GO then hit still truckin's log then drift, sometimes by name and other times by inclination. I wish more folks participated in the jam on ~GO. I don't worship spontaneous writing but there are things to be gained from it for all concerned & when it gets sharp there is alot of fun in it, anyways...
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Just a note about the GO forum. Each thread is supposed to be an independent spontaneous writing thread. The "perpetual jam" thread is great! But I wish more people participated in creating and replying to the other threads also.

A comment about the new "introductions" forum.... people are introducing themselves by tagging onto the one long thread instead of creating their own threads to introduce themselves. It's hard to find their introductions in there.

Just a couple of observations.

Anyway... where do I go when I come here?

Everywhere. I hit all the forums that have unread posts in them. I try to read it all but I can't keep up. That's a good thing. Because I'm here a LOT and if I can't keep up, then that means there's a lot of activity which means everybody must be enjoying themselves.

I start at the top and course my way downward, hitting all the high spots on the way.

Creative Writing has become so fast paced that there is no way I can read all the new stuff in one go. So I miss a lot. Well, the site is growing, a good thing for sure.
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse
