Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

This is an interesting exercise.

You can pick only three things. Objects you find in your home.

The first must represent your past.

The second, your present.

And the third should represent your future.

.....

Not an easy exercise because it's so limiting.

I haven't figured mine out yet. When I do, I"ll post it here.

OK. I'll go first. This wasn't easy.

1. The past - My guitar. (I haven't played guitar in eons and I don't expect I'll pick it up again. Would rather play piano.)
2. The present - The fricking computer. (it's where I live)
3. The future - 15 lb dumbells. (my new life is going to be in the physical realm. Planning on getting in great shape and may go back to school to get certified as a fitness instructor.)

just first thoughts, not too elaborated to work as a representation, maybe!!

a walkman with rusty pilas I found in a cajón beside old bills (I didn´t decide yet if I´ll drop it in the black plastic bag or not) -past-

a laundry machine -future-

the question is simplified for me because I don't have a home.

I live exactly where my profile says... between my ears.

This means that anything I can think of is in my house.

past....a pacifier, a binky, a stack of divorce decrees, inmate #380000, fortunes made and lost, love, betrayal, aspiration, success, failure, the usual furniture.

present... a piano missing four keys, a good rolodex, the grudging respect of my friends, what is left of my imagination.

future... a fake Academy Award, plagiarized Pulitzer, a Nobel purchased on the internet. Oh yeah, the furnace.
