I am surrounded by them or so it seems.
I am going to vote but even so it is discouraging. What am I supposed to do, try to talk them into voting?
maybe it is a good thing that they don't vote. I don't know anymore.

I always exercise my democratic right...but I always vote for someone who hasn't a chance...that way I don't feel bad for the fuck ups....last time around i voted for a Trotskyite...

Find out if they were going to vote, who they would vote for.
If it's McCain, agree with them that they shouldn't vote.
If it's Obama, convince them that they need to vote!
(yanno, though.. just watched a video yesterday by Obama's campaign manager and in the video he said Obama's foreign policy will be to pull out of Iraq and up the war in Afghanistan and also direct military efforts toward Pakistan. I think that's what I heard... and it scared the shit outa me..... soooo.... I donno if he's going to be a war monger, too.... but I do know he seems to be honest and sane and he doesn't think we're living in the biblical end times like Palin, and he's not a liar like McCain, etc.... but Pakistan? yikes!)
