S8 in Real Danger

A web worm that identifies potential victims by searching Google is spreading among online bulletin boards using a vulnerable version of the program phpBB, security professionals said on Tuesday. Almost 40,000 sites may have already been infected.
In an odd twist if you use Microsoft's Search engine to scan for the phrase 'NeverEverNoSanity'--part of the defacement text that the Santy worm uses to replace files on infected Web sites--returns nearly 39,000 hits.
Might wanna talk to Conundrum, the phpBB folks and your ISP, doe-doe.
Everyone else needs to hold their breathe and hope no one uses Google to search for S8.

Damn! Someone sent me this info today and I thought it was old news and had to do with people hacking specific boards in the past.
OK well.... I best upgrade, then.
Thanks, SB (cool how SB looks almost just like S8... You know what that means, don'tchya? It means you belong here!

We were down for a little bit, but here we are up again!
Just like life.
Thanks very much, StupidBob.
(You're really not that stupid after all, by the way.)

Are all the avatars gone or is it my browser?
Who made me webmaster, anyway?
All I wanna do is write and draw and dance and play music.... LOL!
HELP!
Do you see any avatars?
I think we may have lost them when the boards went down during the install.
Or maybe it's just my browser.

Yeah, judih.... thanks! I just went into the site files and took a look. The entire avatar directory is empty, unfortunately.
But the upgrade fix today was a necessary one.
Occupational hazard, I suppose.
I put an announcement up in the announcements forum about it.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
show us your butterfly again...... OK?
