In his usual fashion, Bush spit in the face of every American and the world in his last “news briefing” (which is a joke, there hasn’t been a “briefing” since he took the oath, just a bunch of lies, spin and diversions)
In his last moment he defended all of his failed policies, from Katrina (which he earlier apologized for) to the economy (which he still says is strong) and the Iraq disaster, which he calls a “great success”
One of the funniest moments was when he said "I talked to those helicopter "drivers" who pulled people from the roofs during Katrina"
So is a cab "driver" a cab "pilot"?
For being in the national gaurd and supposedly being a "pilot" you would think he if anyone would know the term for an operator of an aircraft. I've never in my life ever heard anyone refer to the "pilot of a helicopter as a "driver"...NEVER.
This guy is a complete disgrace to this country and himself!!
Guess the madman figured he had nothing to lose, so we saw the real monster behind the mask.
He went through every phase of a psychotic meltdown, he did a childish imitation of self pity to a loud, boisterous rant about how great the response to Katrina was. He mangled the English language and had the mannerisms of a town drunk.
As I watched this psychopaths’ pathetic rant, it scared the hell out of me to think that someone this mentally ill could be the president of this country.
As I said when this sick bastard won his last election, this country can’t handle four more years of Bush and it hasn’t.
I have to admit, I’m enjoying watching the Bush supporters lose every dime they have, they dam well deserve it. They thought by electing a money grabbing, silver spoon that he would deprive the middle class and poor while filling their savings accounts, they never dreamed they’d become a victim of this retarded, lying bastard….paybacks are a bitch!!
So much for the war on the middle class, Bush won, he’s completely destroyed any chance of a working stiff making a dollar in this life time, guess they’ll have to live off the government for the remainder of their miserable lives.

Obama's Use of Complete Sentences Stirs Controversy

In the first two weeks since the election, President-elect Barack Obama has broken with a tradition established over the past eight years through his controversial use of complete sentences, political observers say.

Millions of Americans who watched Mr. Obama's appearance on CBS's 60 Minutes on Sunday witnessed the president-elect's unorthodox verbal tic, which had Mr. Obama employing grammatically correct sentences virtually every time he opened his mouth.

But Mr. Obama's decision to use complete sentences in his public pronouncements carries with it certain risks, since after the last eight years many Americans may find his odd speaking style jarring.

According to presidential historian Davis Logsdon of the University of Minnesota, some Americans might find it "alienating" to have a president who speaks English as if it were his first language.

"Every time Obama opens his mouth, his subjects and verbs are in agreement," says Mr. Logsdon. "If he keeps it up, he is running the risk of sounding like an elitist."

The historian said that if Mr. Obama insists on using complete sentences in his speeches, the public may find itself saying, "Okay, subject, predicate, subject predicate -- we get it, stop showing off."

The president-elect's stubborn insistence on using complete sentences has already attracted a rebuke from one of his harshest critics, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska.

"Talking with complete sentences there and also too talking in a way that ordinary Americans like Joe the Plumber and Tito the Builder can't really do there, I think needing to do that isn't tapping into what Americans are needing also," she said.

The point I'm making is, it's embarressing to have a president speaking like a drunk crackhead in a whorehouse.
There's no excuse for someone with his education to be speaking the way he does.
