Made it thru the training....!

It's official. I am a bonafide SSD adjudicator one now, I made it through the training.
Have you ever had a job where people told you that you weren't supposed to know anything about how to do your job after a 3 month training?
That's what they tell me now.
Basically, it's the same as social work in a way. You get people applying to see if they are eligible for a program. But the difference is that before, I could just tell them in person, in a matter of a few words, that no, they were not eligible. Then, I could suggest they try something else. In this job, you tell them they aren't eligible by way of a long, drawn out legal process, that oftentimes takes a few months.
Yep.
But hey, I made it and I got a job that is somewhat interesting and pays really really good. We'll see how the next few months go eh?
