I love it. Thank you, Doreen, for that beautiful word.

Here's one for today. I was introduced to it in 1982, on the back of the Frankie Goes To Hollywood EP Two Tribes.

Synergism

Here are a number of definitions. Notice that it's not exactly the same as synergy.

On the back of Two Tribes EP synergism was used in a chart breaking down the effcts to be expected from a Global Thermonuclear War. One line on the chart was headed "Synergisms," with nothing but question marks as entries on the chart, because you just can't ever know what might come from them.
Here's a pic...

This is all a work of art.

More like...while it may be easy to tell what a person will do, there's just no telling what people can do.

Or something like that.

Peace,
Barry

I used to stand and wonder at what people can do. Now I only stand.

A word I learned from Clay.

Tensegrity
He was referring to geodesic domes but it has a quantum mystical meaning too.

Tensegrity is an art: the art of adapting to one's own energy, and to each other's energy in a way that contributes to the integrity of the community that we are.

Pinocheted:

Will Cheney get Pinocheted if he travels outside the US?
The big turning point came on October 16, 1998, the day Pinochet was arrested in London on a Spanish court order. Since then, other human rights violators have had to worry about being “Pinocheted” if they leave their home countries.
