What I've read from this person's posts. Sounds like he or she wishes only to disrupt this place with hateful talk and not much else. This person should realize that this place doesn't need someone's hate like that at all.

I think we all know who thirteen is. He was on Freedom Hall for quite a while under a variety of names, then he caught the announcements about this board and now he's here.

Oh great just what this place needs a PITA!!!!

I think both of you know how deditcated I am to freedom of speech. At the same time, I want to keep the decorum around here. We want a good and productive community. It won't be like Freedom Hall.

Here are the rules:

All will be welcome here until they piss me off.. No fancy terms of service. No list of regulations. The only rule is: If you piss lightning rod off, you're gone.

Luckily it takes a lot to piss me off.

As far as deletions go, only the most egregious personal insults will disappear and they will do so without explanation other than the aforementioned--because it pisses me off.

But neither doreen or I are going to babysit this place. Most of you are adults and if you are not, you had better grow up quick.

I'm not into insult good genteman Lighting Rod sir. I only want to see nothing but good natured people here in the wonderful place.

I tell ya, last night was boring and tedious, with only brief moments of laughter. Name calling, trashing people's work and begging for porn pictures is not my idea of a good time. I deleted a few posts but we're not going to have time to hang out here and watch the boards every minute of the day to make sure we don't get bombed with idiotic comments by someone whose sole purpose is to hang out on the internet and disrupt communities.

I say the boards are unmoderated because they are. We're not going to babysit the boards and we're not going to assign moderators to police them. That doesn't mean we don't know where the X button is.

The rules are not written rules. The only rules here are accepted rules of conduct for all respectible members of society. Just as in real life, we don't walk up to people and sling shit in their faces, we don't expect them to sling it here on the internet superhighway.

So, you can call that moderating if you want, but since it's not going to be an ongoing thing because we simply don't have time for it, be forwarned that you may run into idiotic posts from time to time.

My suggestion is to (1) ignore them and move on to something else and (2) email us and let us know so we can find the X button if it's needed.

But just like in real life, if you ignore those whose childish antics are bothering you, usually they go away.

Rest assured that we're not going to judge the writings of those who are truly part of this community and remove content or make people disappear.

This doesn't mean that those who are NOT truly part of this community can say anything they want.

I hope this makes sense to you all because it makes a lot of sense to me.

Once we develop the areas of the site where the members of the site have their own sections, each member will be able to handle moderating the interactive content of their own area as they see fit, by the way. More on that later.

Hopefully people will follow what you say.
