Note to friends - A healing energy request for LightningRod

I just spoke with Lightning Rod on the phone. He's in the hospital. He said to relay to you all that this is "a result of hard living."

He's not sure how long he will be there but hopefully he will be going home soon. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and send some healing energy his way, OK?

I am so sorry to hear that doreen.

I am going to light every candle I got and keep him close in to my heart and thoughts and silent prayers.

good to know that he keeps the humor on!

(I have a white candle somewhere, I´ll light it & send healing vibes to him this afternoon while I do tons of homework!)

keep us up to date, Dor', on the ol' eLRod's condition, and pass on our positivism. I know his comfort zone is not in any hospital and it's a rough trip to take when health fails us.

Thanks, all, for responding. I will send your messages along next time I speak with him and also direct him to this thread. Hopefully he will be out of the hospital soon and will tell you more details if he wants once he has computer access.

He said something like this when I spoke with him.... "I'm doing first-hand research on the healthcare system in the US so I can offer my analysis."

It's not an easy time. I'm concerned. But with all this positive energy and candle-lighting, we're bound to see improvement soon, I would think!

I hope you heal and soon. A lot of energy and light are directed your way.

Time to give it a break, ay? Try not to stick around in that place for long dude. Get some fresh air when you can.

Vitamize yourself, herb yourself, heal yourself my friend and know we are at it on our ends too for you.

I wish you love as big as Texas and hope all turns out okay. Let us know if you need or want anything...

Lightning. Was away from the computer yesterday, but, oddly, thinking about you at the time this thread was posted. I always meant to call and harrass you on the phone some day, but never got a round tuit. Maybe some day. Anyway, get well soon. The Absurdist Party needs you to run again. Duty calls.

I thought about you yesterday when I was discussing Vonnegut Pall Malls and suicide. No idea if they have anything to do with it. Please get better Clay. Not many people here can give me the adrenalin shakes like you can. Please don't make me miss you.
