I just spoke with Lightning Rod on the phone. He's in the hospital. He said to relay to you all that this is "a result of hard living." He's not sure how long he will be there but hopefully he will be going home soon. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and send some healing energy his way, OK?

keep us up to date, Dor', on the ol' eLRod's condition, and pass on our positivism. I know his comfort zone is not in any hospital and it's a rough trip to take when health fails us.

Thanks, all, for responding. I will send your messages along next time I speak with him and also direct him to this thread. Hopefully he will be out of the hospital soon and will tell you more details if he wants once he has computer access.

He said something like this when I spoke with him.... "I'm doing first-hand research on the healthcare system in the US so I can offer my analysis."

It's not an easy time. I'm concerned. But with all this positive energy and candle-lighting, we're bound to see improvement soon, I would think!

Give him my well wishes and hopes to see him back at it.

I thought about you yesterday when I was discussing Vonnegut Pall Malls and suicide. No idea if they have anything to do with it. Please get better Clay. Not many people here can give me the adrenalin shakes like you can. Please don't make me miss you.
