we-the norweigian jury- stands fast behind the decission.

Rebranding America
By BONO
Published: October 17, 2009

A FEW years ago, I accepted a Golden Globe award by barking out an expletive.
One imagines President Obama did the same when he heard about his Nobel, and not out of excitement.

But an America that’s tired of being the world’s policeman, and is too pinched to be the world’s philanthropist, could still be the world’s partner. And you can’t do that without being, well, loved. Here come the letters to the editor, but let me just say it: Americans are like singers — we just a little bit, kind of like to be loved. The British want to be admired; the Russians, feared; the French, envied. (The Irish, we just want to be listened to.) But the idea of America, from the very start, was supposed to be contagious enough to sweep up and enthrall the world.

And it is. The world wants to believe in America again because the world needs to believe in America again. We need your ideas — your idea — at a time when the rest of the world is running out of them.

Hard times here
hard times for the young
America eats its young
For some reason
The Weimar Republic never off my mind these days.
Well they say that time loves a hero
But only time will tell

Norwegians don't know jack shit about america
Neither do the Irish

I wish I knew more about Norway. Ireland too.

One thing I do know abour Norway is they must have god on their side cause they are doing a lot better than we are these days.

I guess what I meant is that Bono don't know ugly americans like me.

I suppose one of the things I admire most about Norway is their dearth of war heroes.

Life is so cheap here in the usa that we have a plethora of war heroes.

You might say they are our gross national product.

Nobody ever heard of the Ottoman Empire.
But it haunts us from the last century still
Let's see Obama start to face facts
Starting with the middle east.

That is another reason why I envy Norway. All your war heroes are so old.

well said).

unfortunatly theres is a lot of them even here. Afghanistan d the has a pack in the north. and the resistance towrds this war in norway has zimmered down after the election.
our primeminister was re-elected thus givin the signal that people are happy with shit the way it is.
and to be honest, its really not that bad.

it swings like this :
i always supported the parti called "Red". in my town this the people whom apposed to the buliding of a new fotball stadium. so i now work againt them. it maysound like a pitifull task, but we really need some selfasteem in Moss. and those commies are pretty much fucking it up. imagine the rock concerts we could have, man.
stuff like that. norweigian politics. we're never satisfied.
my interest rate is 1.4%!

just saw at the news now, that Obama has been offered to sleep over at the Kings castle (yes, we have a king. fucking middleages...)
our king is asking your president to have a sleep-over when he arrives to collect the price. wonder if he really comes. i'd like to meet him.

(im experiencing problems with this writing program, it scrolles on me. when i get to the bootm line of this box, it stays there, and i cant see what i write belove it.
lets hope its something good)

What diplomacy exactly has obama done?

killing innocent pakistanis is diplomacy?

waging war in iraq and afpakistan is peacefull?

If you believe anything has changd why dont you ask those prisonners STIL in Guanatanmot whether they cann feel the chang.

Obama = Bush with a less eerie smile.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

Good to see you still barking e_dog.
Yeah you were right about Obama, Libya jesus h christ, what a farce.
Maybe he should have wrote a book about the dreams of his mother. Seriously!

I don't know if I would vote for him again. I don't know if i would vote for anyone again, not even Woodrow Wilson or Jimmy Carter. I might vote for Harding if he ran again. I liked his campaign slogan. "I am only in it for the money"

No I would have still voted for Obama, even if I knew now what I knew then. In the meantime Reid and Pelosi are no help to him atall. The democrats had all three branches of government for two years and the republicans out foxed them at every turn. What Obama has accomplished are things that don't grab the headlines, he has managed to turn back faith based science at NIH for example.

Lets face it God is not on the democrat's side, God is a republican. So is Jesus it seems.
