I'm sorry mark,
be careful
I am not sure why we used to cover the mirrors when I was a kid I asked my uncle and he said it was because we do not want to see our faces and feel guilty for still living.

I am at a loss of what to say but offer this -
I hope she passed peacefully and without pain.
I'm sorry for you and connect with your loss.
Take care of yourself like she would want you to.

Mark... I didn't know ... but on Wed, I changed the banner from a banner of CJ's artwork ...(which I put up for a week as a tribute to her) ... to a photo of a girl walking on the beach toward the ocean. Today, I changed it to a beautiful colorful painting. Somehow things like this seem significant to me.
My sincerest sympathies, Mark. (((hugs)))
If there's anything I can do, let me know. Call me.

My condolences to you Wired. I wanted to see if I could find some of her artwork and embrace her essence through it, too.

Mark, my heart goes out to you. It is such a hard thing to lose the people we love, who mean the world to us. Even if your mind can somehow understand it was time, your heart aches. I wish the best for you and your family.

"The only meaning the world has is how it unfolds for me" JK
I can only relate from my own experience of my mother's passing away.
She suffered so long And when she died I felt relief as well as sadness.
And I felt guilty for feeling a sense of relief. It did not sink in until a couple of weeks later that I would not be seeing her again. I would not be stopping by to visit her and chat with her.
But I was wrong, I remember my first dream of her after she was gone... I was so happy to see her again, and then in the dream I realized that she had died. But then she told me she was okay and I woke up feeling no despair. No grief.
Sorry if I say too much mark, I felt like I loved her too, I am grateful I knew her through her work and your words of her.
perpetual love
perpetual decisions
on the way to oblivion
beyond believe
like up and down
ya gotta grieve
shine w/joy
life the ultimate
rest inevitable
now all we have
