Yes, Jack, I neglected to remember that today, what's left of December 7th, is your birthday... one year after the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor.... and that is where my memory stopped in response to SooZen's memory of her dad.

Enough of that and for you, amigo, I hope your birthday was a day of good reflections and happy memories.

One year before. December 7th 1940.
When people ask me when I was born I say "Before the war" I leave it to them to figure out which war.

I finally got one tomato off my plant.
I was going to post a picture of my tomato plant besides yours.
Not hard for me to be humble.
