State of emergency declared as 800,000 gallons of leaked oil begins flowing through Kalamazoo County
Home sweet home! I guess that oil is finishing off the job that the pcp's and other pollutants left over from the great industrial past of the mitten state started. I mean, I could handle the fact that BP singlehandedly destroyed the entire Gulf* (and who knows what global effect of that will be, and also
this. Furthermore, how exactly does Tony Haywood sleep at night?) SW michigan and potentially the Great Lakes? This just makes me want to cry.
*Actually I'm really pissed off about that too.
oil strikes again!

Sorry to hear of this disaster in Michigan. It hasn't gotten
too much press down south because we are so preoccupied
with the Gulf spill. Hope it is cleaned up really soon...
Oil may wreak havoc on fragile marsh ecosystems, etc.

I just saw this.... wow, bohonato! I didn't realize that's where you were. The weather is so screwed up all over the globe.
How are you guys doing out there?
The oil GUSH (spill is such a misnomer) has been such a disgusting and horrible thing.... and I'm with you... how DOES Tony Haywood sleep at night?
These people have no consciences. All they care about is money.
I literally DO cry when I see the photos of the birds and fish and marshland.

They say they've found oil in the Mississippi river too. But they're keepin that quiet for now. (Drink up!!!)
They also had a quick blurb on Friday progressive radio reporting that Gulf responders were now puking and pooping brown, (blood), due to the fact that correctol, the dispersant used, causes blood cells to break down. Haven't heard anything more on that either.
WHEN ARE WE THE PEOPLE GOING TO STAND UP IN MULTITUDES AND STOP THIS CRAP!!!!!!!

We could ask them to "turn that boat around", like "we're riding on
a SHIP OF FOOLS": see link

Folks, we need to get others to stop drilling, for the time being, and start cleaning up these various places.
You don't mess with "mother nature"
