AAAK!!!

Post by Artguy » December 14th, 2010, 11:42 am

I just found out my contract is not being renewed due to a lack of funds, so next week I will be joining the ranks of the unemployed.

Ya lack of funds, welcome to the world of academia where they hire VP's and directors at outrageous amounts of money, yet when it comes to infrastructure to provide a workable facility for the students and faculty we are broke.

artguy: can you formally object somehow the decisión of the authorities? there are others in your same position? and yeah, to be unemployed if you need to be employed is pesado... so best wishes searching and being open to what you need at this moment! :)

sorry to hear, good luck though, just stumbling blocks that'll be smaller in hindsight when you get back on your feet

I'm sorry to hear this. Welcome to my world. :( ... it sucks being unemployed... It's harder work trying to find work than to work.

All the best to you, Kurt!

Artguy, I am so sorry you lost your main breadwinning job! Hopefully, a good art showing or two will get you through the winter months. 8)
