So dub-ya invades Iraq because of WMD and other stuff that apparently didn't exist.

He calls Iran, Iraq & N. Korea the "axis of evil."

Now he, and Condi, are talking shit and threatening Iran because of their nuclear program.

So here's my question. Is it possible dub-ya is right and the US should go in and kick Iranian (and possibly N. Korean) ass to make sure they don't get and/or use nukes?

The way you phrase this implies that you think the US is the "good" guy and sort of the world's policeman. Its horrible these countries have nukes, but the USA has the most. WHy is the US allowed to have them and not other countries? The UN should be working towards a nuclear freeze everyday.

and by the same logic, malt, we should go kick ass on the Chinese and the Russians and the Pakistanis and the Indians and while we're at it we might as well take care of Britian and France and Israel. (watch out for Brazil)

now, now boys. . .

I'm not taking any position. Just axing, that's all.

I did wonder today while reading the paper though if, maybe, we're better off with dub-ya doing his thing.

Just wondering.

America is the biggest threat to global security. Hello, my name's Bennie and I state the obvious.

That's a fact! Bill Hicks, talking about the first Bush and the first war on iraq said you were "the bullies of the world...like jack palance in the movie shane throwing the pistol down and the herder's feet and then shooting him when he picked it up"

When were America given the job of policing the fucking world?
The UN should be working towards a nuclear freeze everyday
Dynamite or was it TNT or are those the same thing? Anyway, Nobel discovered this and said it would be a deterent from ever using it because of the absolute danger involved. What a fucking idiot. Didn't he know people? Didn't he know that we're nothing but a fucking virus?

I've questioned my own cynicism before. What if Bush et al are right? What if the neysayers are wrong? But then, they were proven to be wrong by the lack of nuclear weapons in Iraq.

It isn't Team America's job to govern the globe. They can't even govern their own fucking country! It should be up to the UN, or a newer, more powerful alternative, to take these matters on board and DISCUSS the issues and be diplomats. Soldiers and war are, like, so last cetury. :|

I wonder when the rest of the world is going to turn on the US. You are clearly the biggest threat to the world. When I read guardian.co.uk I don't get aggitated and worried at the alleged terrorist threat on the UK (not one al-Qaida attack on the UK). What worries me is the forcefullness and narrow mindedness of your country's politiKs. It's sickening and disgusting and that's why I said "when the rest of the world..." rather than "if the rest of the world..."

Peace will not be found unless we can leap over an "us vs. them" mentality. Fear is in the driver's seat...

Bennie...Lrod was saying something that I related to...us, meaning us, you or me, your country or mine verses them, anyone that we don't agree with or scares the pee outta us. Next Iran, or Korea, or ....it goes on and on...unless each one of us seeks Peace. Instead of promoting an 'us vs. them" mentality we need to seek compromise, not war, not violence because that is a road that has only one end, a dead end.
Freedom's just another word...

I don't have an us Vs them mentality. They do.

haha.

I was making a joke there BB. US(A) Vs Them? Get it? A joke?

Your country's government is to blinkered to adopt a spirit of international community. the US doesn't want that. They want to be the leaders of a globalised (americanised) world. With the brown people at the bottom of the pecking order.

Peace only comes about when a politician doesn't have a vested interest. A politician gets invovled, especially a religious politician, and the proverbial shit hits the proverbial fan and the proverbial "us" get covered in it. Well, no "us". We don't get covered that often. It's usually the poorer countries that get covered in shit.
