I worry about America now that we don't have a war to fight.

What will we do with all our military might. How will we maintain job security for the military-financial complex. All those trillions of borrowed Chinese dollars just sitting around hardly earning any interest.

Obama or Romney, so hard to decide which one I want for commander in chief. Obama I suppose, he got the best kill record.

War in our time, fear not war is at hand.

Life exploits

exploitation
not so much economic as biologic
I am thinking
all culture is biological
The bottom line of civilization is exploitation

Life exploits
a new philosophy of molecular morality is needed
spontaneous ethos
1. Background
“One can best feel in dealing with living things how
primitive physics still is.”
Albert Einstein

So, if the central conjecture of this paper is correct, it appears that
both rapid decoherence and prolonged coherence might
co-exist within life’s essential machinery. Of course,
this is to be expected for any sufficiently complex
molecular system, but the elucidation of this “peaceful
co-existence,” and the manner in which life exploits the
best of both worlds—decoherence and coherence—in
felicitous combination, should be regarded as a priority
for further research into the significance of quantum
mechanics and life.

I can't help wondering what Bukowski would say to that.

I know the war is not over yet. It won't be over till 2014.

In the meantime jobs are on the way. But maybe not a chicken in every pot. But I don't worry. Just so the trains are on time.

Despite an apparently “warm, wet, and noisy” intracellular milieu, the proposal suggests that microtubules avoid environmental decoherence long enough to reach threshold for “self-collapse” (objective reduction) by a quantum gravity mechanism put forth by Penrose.

that is it in a nutshell, it's warm, wet, and noisy in here.

I can't remember how exactly he worded it, but in that Wake Up book by Kerouac he mentions a wheel set in motion twenty five hundred years ago, trying to kick it, get some momentum.

thanks for reading
Hope you doing okay

I'm of the mind wars are made to have us forget our troubles at home...for a time. Expect another war soon enough, because people are likely to consider how wretched things are getting and want them to change. Nothing makes another as guilty when they have the audacity to think THEY deserve something when there's an American Soldier taking a bullet for them. :?

I think wars are made by people who want something.

War: 1) a disagreement turned violent; 2) an incident used to acquire more by an aggressor; 3) an act of breaking things and killing people called an enemy.

ever note how eagerly the youth charge into battle in defense of their country, sometimes deceived and other times supporters of the truth..?

historically it never has changed, has it?

Sorry if I woofed at you Cecil :?
It has been a long time since we waged a war for truth. Not sure if we ever have. The civil war?

Maybe the only thing that is changed is we now have some wonderful military trained emergency room doctors and nursers working in the trauma centers stitching these frail human bodies back together.

San Antonio is a huge center for military hospitals, the military joint medical services are here. This is a town of the maimed. I try to maintain a stiff upper lip and smile on my brothers but I get angry at the wasted lives and treasure from the republicans and now democratic war of the past ten years. So many wounded warriors, from bogus wars. Is it their fault they volunteered, how much danger are we in? More from within than from without.

call me naive I guess
