And here is the passage I often have in mind when I fasten the epithet "prophetess" upon ye, O Judih:
"Though the problems must have seemed insurmountable, Deborah saw the need of Israel, knew of the promises of God, and made herself available to Yahweh. It was God who had the exact plan for the hour. All that was required was obedience and courage.
"Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappodoth, was judging Israel at that time. She used to sit under the palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the people of Israel came up to her for judgment," (4:4-5).
And, ( Zlatko declaims in a scriptural tone . . .) O clear, powerful and tolerant voice speaking in poems and tongues, we cherish ye.
Zlatko

one time, I had a Rabbi's hat but I lost it down the laundrette. I think someone stole it though. Not pointing any fingers but three weeks later the priest changed religion.
that's all I'm saying.

A courtly bow to you, then perhaps a shout, toss cap in air, HUZZA!
As we all know (I suspect), it feels good when acknowledged, praised, responded to in a post. Thank you for your compliments, to me and all.
And thanks too to all who posted about The Gates. I'm sure some readers & posters were thinking "Sheesh, good thing that installation only lasts 16 days, ENOUGH already!". Hey, I dug it (and without really expecting to, at least as much as I did, that is).
Happy March everyone, may spring spring soon.
