Mnaz, Wireman, et al, Guess what :?: Check out an old Action Poetry thread: "Please Write a Poem Today" on Litkicks.com
It has worked for me twice. It's not broken :!:
Action Poetry still has life...It was just taking a siesta. 8) Ah HAAAAH :!:

After reading this, I went to Litkicks and found an article here - http://www.litkicks.com/APBeta

I didn't know about actionpoetry.com ... and because of your post, I thought the site was brand new. I don't know why.

When my log-in didn't work, I emailed Levi to ask him to reset my password because in the article he asks people to email him and the "reset password" button gave me an error message that my name wasn't recognized as a user, despite the fact that I found a lot of my poems over there when doing a search.

Anyway... hahaha... then AFTER I emailed Levi to congratulate him on the new site, I discovered that the announcement article about the site was written in September of 2013 and is almost a year old!

YIKES.. i'm so embarrassed. Oh well.

Doreen, that old thread is still working. I got another one of my posts published.
It was an elegy for Robin Williams, entitled: "End of the Line: An Elegy for Robin Williams, Actor." :!:

Steve, I can't log-in to actionpoets.net. I didn't even know that site existed. I have material on there but still can't log in.

Doreen, if you'd like to view your stuff, just key in Doreen Peri, or your current handle,
poet, Litkicks.com. If you'd like to post on that old thread, key in: "Please Write a Poem Today" Litkicks.com. The old 2012 thread will come up & you just write a poem & it will
be approved in a day or so. Mine took a little less than a day.

In Litkicks, some threads are working, as you know, & some aren't. Many archives & profiles are still viable. Mine is. You don't need a password, it just comes up if you key in your "handle" with the Litkicks logo.

You know me, I'm a real "klutz" when it comes to the internet & computers. So, just keep trying. Surely, it will work for others besides myself. :) I still use windows seven :!:

I know how to view my posts on the actionpoetry.net site. I just search for my name and there they are.

But I can't log-in to the site - http://actionpoetry.net/

I didn't even know that site existed. I just discovered the site when I posted on this thread a couple of weeks ago.

I haven't tried to log-in to Litkicks for a very long time. I don't remember my log-in. I guess you're saying I could post there, too.

My password doesn't come up on Litkicks automatically, probably because I never set a site to remember my password. You'd have to click the "remember me" button.

I just looked. I went here:
http://www.litkicks.com/

I can't find a place to log-in even. Where is it?

I can't find the "Write a poem" link. Where is it?

:)

I just searched for "litkicks action poetry" and found this link:

http://www.litkicks.com/ActionPoetryHome

but there's no place to log-in. There's no "write a poem" link. And the Action Poetry link isn't linked on the links on the lefthand column.

I'm totally lost on that site other than to read the articles.

No one can "log in" anymore. All you do is search the "Please Write a Poem Today" site on Litkicks & post a poem. All you do is copy those numbers &/or letters so they know you
aren't a spambot. Then in a few hours to a day, your poem will come up. They just need your "handle" & your e-mail. Key it in like this [ "Please Write a Poem Today" Litkicks.com] You just need your www etc. too. It recognizes your name. Keep trying... :)
There's a topic list for Poetry on the left side bar.

Your profile will also come up, if you had one-- if you key" Doreen, etc. Litkicks profile". :)
It's an old link from back in November, 2012. Action Poetry, per se, is defunct. However,
some of the old threads, like that one are still working. Also try Litkicks.com Poetry archives.
Hopefully, you'll have good luck like I did. 8) Did you see my elegy on Robin Williams yet?

Sorry, I can't find the link to "Please Write a Poem Today."

Can you post a link, please? Or direct me to it? Where is the link on the page and what page is it on?

Thanks!

action poetry at litkicks is kaput now.....has been since sometime in spring....if yer finding a way to put a poem in, theres no way for anybody to even know to read it....we have poetry and GO here and they are alive....Levi put action poetry on the shelf for the time being, i know because i was consulting with him the whole time he was trying to create the action site....it was too much for him and the bugs in the program caused it to crash, he gave up and decided to devote his time to philosophy.....fact....theres a great site called beatdom where u can submit poetry thats interesting, but the poetry has to b accepted by the editors for publication....litkicks moved away from being a beat writer site....fact.... 8)

Aha! That explains why there are no accessible, visible, links. Thanks, Mark. :)
