today's nugget of joy.

If you're taking a person more seriously than he's taking himself, he's probably onto something there.

I started reading Mao quotations yesterday and finished reading Li Ho poems.

A nugget of joy and a nugget of wisdom.....
with a whole lump of truth.

And my nugget of wisdom is.....

"SNAP OUT OF IT!" And it's all for me, it's all for me. :?
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

bah, I wouldn't know anything about truth

I've just noticed that taking oneself seriously leads to self importance which leads to self-aggrandising and self-pity, which are only wastes of valuable time & energy that we'll never get back

I hate it when I begin to take myself too seriously....
it makes me want to laugh in my face! Ha Ha!

Ah, you'd recognize truth if it jumped up and bit you on the ass.....
I'm almost sure of it.

A lot of selfs in that statement. Too much self is never good awright.

'Tis better to be humble.....leave it to others to notice how grand you are....

It's just that they're all so blind!!!!!!! :D

I can never be serious for too long!

You're no fool Marksy.

I wouldn't say that I'm humble at all.
"Sometimes when I look at myself, I can't believe how awesome I am"
I mean, come on, I'm a good writer & artist, I play about 5 instruments, I write great music, and I'm good looking to boot
Hehehe

But I still don't take myself seriously.
I know my worth. Zero. Even with everything else in the universe.

Actually your worth is not zero. And how humble of you to think it is. I believe the word you meant was priceless, even with everything else in the universe.

I'm off to listen to your musico!!!!!
