Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

Jana (creativesoul) is in the next town over visiting her mom. So, yesterday we went out to eat and happened upon an arts festival, too.... and guess who else came to meet us? Steve (saw) came all the way to Virginia from Baltimore. It was fabulous! Will post some photos later.

I'll probably see Jana one more time before she has to go back home.

We talked about next year getting together again. And doing a poetry reading. And having some live music and an art show. Hoping we can somehow make this happen. And you all are invited!

It was a lot of fun! We happened upon an outdoor art show, too. I have more photos. Sorry, these are sideways! I guess I could get them off my phone and into my computer and try uploading them again.

We talked about you other S8 writers and the fine writing here (did your ears burn? ), as well as the unfortunate fact that the site has so little activity lately and my need for tech help to re-open registration and keep the bots out. If you know any volunteer tech people let me know.

PLUS, we talked about getting together again in a year ... so mark your calendar. Would be great to finally meet you one day.

Yeah, it's looking better for that. I thought I had it worked out last year, but things changed-- kind of a long story. But I'm moving to a better neighborhood, and work seems to be easing up a bit, so yeah ...

Doreen, in shot #2 you are the spitting image of one the QC techs at my last workplace! She was a hot shit, and a fellow hiker - we used to share our weekend excursions with one another, and once I even bumped into her & her S.O. bicycling on a rail trail..... I didn't say it would be an interesting story.....
