MIA

Post by Doreen Peri » January 15th, 2020, 12:03 am

I've been MIA. Or MII (missing in inaction). Just stopped by to tell you all I love you. Eventually the muse will come back. Or the music.

she comes and goes in a room by Micaelangelo
in the meantime, I ride the ego trip
up and down the rollercoaster of my mind
l had not noticed you being MIA I suppose because I always feel your presence here
or maybe I am a self-absorbed cracker head
but whatever the wether
or weather or not
I am very glad you checked in
and grateful to have a reason to write a little

MIA, illluminara, abstroint, mousey1 sad luck dame, west coast, buddabitch, hester_pryne,izzeryboyin, lucy1, whimsical deb, and now you?
where have all the flowers gone?

speaking of things missing in action
I been thinking about getting a gun
just like the one my cowboy heroes wore on their hips

I would like to feel the swagger and the power of the pistol swinging with the walk
next best thing to the feeling of an erection I guess
thanks for studio eight little sister

Re MIA

seems like everywhere I go these days there I am.
Today I was thinking about a poster that was popular in the seventies
Find your bliss, do what you love
Had beautiful graphics of the sky and clouds and birds flying

I have been thinking about updating it for the 21st century
Instead of the beautiful graphics, I would have a picture of Trump

good night Irene I'll see you in

Re: amazing S8ers

I want to be in their numbers when the saints march
digital silicon-based saints
that congregate in nowhere space

re: go ahead and talk about it
I've been thinking
I've been drinking
I've been smoking
I've been shopping

And I-be typing since I opened this text box
shopping dishwashers for baby sister
I bought a five-year warranty for it because I need a sense of longevity which is said to be a blessing

yeah...come on, girls!! doreen & all the girls re-turn!!! I miss and remember all the poetess´s names you mentioned and specially I miss Anemone who was the one that I also met in person- person (I guess it was already ten years ago...wow!!!)
I thank & appreciate Judih´s warm presence a lot & also the fact that most of the poet- friends are already old friends plus poets and that somehow works beyond gender sometimes. If it not were that way, s-8 would have become in danger of being a sort of beat- men´s or something like that club...

arcadia, it's so cool that you're back. (big love)
anemone is busy flying around the world - she has a facebook presence, energetic and fabulous as always.
Glorious Amok - haven't heard from her in a while
Hester Prynne, theda, is also on facebook
as is Lucy, Abstroint, SooZen, Whitebird Sings and Deb
facebook is for those of us who still treasure photos and news and have enough self-discipline to check in and check out. Otherwise, it's a fast downhill slope ...
