increasing my walks
huffin and puffin
surgeon sez I'm doing well
but said the scar tells little of the story
he reminded me this is major trauma
be cool, nothing over 10 pounds
for 3 months, don't try to cheat
rib cage wired back together, but bones must fuse
before you can do a lot of things, be cool, be cool

A friend told me yesterday after my "ommmmm" response to a long chat: "sí...en estos tiempos o nos volvemos gurúes o nos volvemos totalmente locos"... maybe both or none, who knows!

thought I'd update my progress
I hiked 5.3 miles a few days ago with my daughter Eria
no trouble at all....no pains....lungs and heart working well
legs still a little behind, but nothing to worry about
so lucky for this second chance to enjoy autumn in the woods
