Below is a copy of Judih’s post in our departed members forum. I don’t yet have any words to say. I was so hoping to see him again here at Studio8 and also in person. The sadness is overwhelming.

Our dearly beloved jam man, Wireman, passed away in February 2020.
This from today's Facebook:

Just learned that Frederick artist and all-around joyful human Mark Wireman Coburn passed away in February. Wireman was a huge supporter of my poetry and encouraged me to participate in the open mic nights he hosted weekly at Cafe Nola. I mentioned those days dropping verses with Wireman on almost every food tour I led for 6 years, so it's easy for me to say in full confidence that he will be impossible to forget.

Rest In Poetry. 💖

Lucy Coburn is with Mark Wireman Coburn.

I just found out my father passed away in February. I am overwhelmed with sadness by this news and full of regret. My dad made this wire star for me when i was in second grade living in new baltimore, va. He was a talented artist and I will miss him always.

put on a lil heaven
by rolling stones
turn on and the
world cracks into
tiny blue cubes
that's when the
bird takes over
a condor floatin
on warm thermals
to be exact..........glidin along the sheer rock faces
no flappin......just floatin........

shalom my kind friend
so long but not goodbye
I still have you here with me on studio eight

brother mark
kind creative spirit
happy to be able to look at
one of your wondrous wire creations
every single morning
as it hangs in the window to the outside
and was lucky to see you do your spoken word
with the young musicians that adored you
and was blessed to read with you in baltimore
your lack of ego, your fearless imagination
your devotion to art of any shape
will live in many droplets of misty eternal explosions

Mark... I've thought of you so many times this year and now I know -

you snuck out the back door so's not to bring tears to all your fans,

as it's been said, the world will be a bit more empty, amigo...

I'll continue missing you on and off, knowing you're still out there...

RIP, I'm sure...

Really sad to hear this. He was always a force for good and truth in jamming, right from the earliest days on LK when I first met him online. Mark, you've been missed around here, and will continue to be, but like truck says, your vibe lives on.

We were sad to see that Mark Wireman Coburn passed away in February, 2020. We were suprised and wondered why he was no longer on-line.
Now, sadly, we know. Our hearts go out to his daughter and family and friends. Mark, you are sorely missed.
