fellow poet Terri

I wanted everyone to know
in case you didn't, that one of our colleagues
Terri Swift has passed on to join
fellow poets, Dino, L Rod and the rest
after a long battle with many health issues......
we met a few times over the years
she was living in Ohio at the time of her death
we hung out here in Baltimore a few times
I met her father, and we all broke bread together
and shared a nice Malbec at that time when Dino left us
and we talked about his life, and now Terri has joined him
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

oh Steve.
Shalom Terri. How long it's been since you frequented the Studio. May your spirit flow on as your physical ailments cease to bind you.

(thanks for sharing)

Her writing seemed playful, infused with humor - not unlike Issa, who also suffered physically during life. I've missed her presence here, and will continue to.

She was one of the funniest people I’ve ever known! She always made me laugh! I met her only once.. maybe twice... in Baltimore at a poetry reading when I met Steve and also Dino. After we met, Terri and I became phone and chat buddies for a long time! We talked often... and I’m not really a phone person but I really enjoyed her company and conversation!

I’m feeling really bad right now. She contacted me and let me know of her health issues about maybe 6 months ago? Maybe a year? and we briefly reconnected. I talked to her once on the phone and we chatted on google... then I lost track of her again. I feel really bad because I should have stayed in contact with her and checked on her!

She got to see Dino again... so that’s good.

I love those people!
