I'm a grandma, once more, yay!

How can I not shout out yippee! When there's so much to be grateful for in that another little life has found it time to pop out, no matter what's going on.
Little Lia, born in Singapore, 3rd daughter to my amazing daughter Iris and her husband Dor.
I haven't seen them in ages but through that fabulously and highly developed mother's intuition, I can smell her new baby smell and can offer hugs to Iris.
One day, soon, it'll be skin to skin.
But meanwhile, I wanted to share the news. Please send good vibes for a good life!

Congratulations to Mom, Dad, & Gramma! (Nana? Meemaw?) I hope everyone is doing well. Becky's trying for #1, if successful I'll be getting my grandparent's stripes sometime next year!

may the stripes be forthcoming.
They call me 'Safta Judih' or Grandma Judih or 'you're silly'. Only 2 out of 5 actually call me anything. Waiting for words is fun.

Sasha, that's little Maya, barely 2 1/2 yrs old who can be found harvesting olives from trees, kneading bread dough, and washing walls if she colors on them. Her parents' style - can't wait for her to teach me new skills.

once we have kids, we can step back and let them get on with some dearly-needed evolution.
