a friend of mine was born on may 5, 05:05 a.m., but the nurse wrote 05:10 on her birth paper and told she mother that the real time would have sounded like a joke.
this was 1968... wonder what the nurses did this year??
anyway, i phoned my friend at 05:05 (p.m. of course) today to congratulate her - 05/05/05, 05:05 p.m.
she even has the same colour as this date has (blue, of course... and her name is petra, which is definitely a blue name as well).
it's a quarter to midnight here now, so the blue hours have almost begun....

panta - that's too cool! High 5 to your friend!
Artguy - five oh five oh five oh five.....
it's got a rhythm to it, huh?
I was corrected on my statement that this would never happen again.... Wrong again! *shrug* oh well, after so many times being wrong, it doesn't bother me much.... (dammit!
Truth is 5:05 on 05/05/05 happens 2 times a century.
at 5:05am and 5:05 fm... lol... i mean, pm
Just wanted to admit my error because I'm like that. I can fess up. Yep. I was wrong. So what? So sue me!

Let us not forget different time zones...can't remember how many times zones there are but technically speaking, it happened as many times in a day as there are time zones plus the am pm thing, plus the BC and AD thing as well. Would watches count as well...I mean if our own watch is how we measure time, and all watches aren't set exactly, when it is 12:00 for me, it may only be 11:58 for you...lol...okay perhaps I'm stretching it out a bit

yep....
i have a post on this thread which says i had been corrected .... once a century, knip (if you use 24-hour military time)
or 2x, if you don't because there is 05:05am and 05:05pm
but still.... once in your lifetime... only once in mine
i don't think either of us will be around in a hundred years.

Now say you were to fly in a supersonic jet from one time zone to another....you could hit at least a few different 5:05's...lol...what about if you hopped on the space shuttle...probably catch all of em...lol...don't ask what the fuck I'm talking about cause really I don't know
