Happy 85th birthday to Bob Dylan, who said,

Shadows even the silver spoon
The handmade blade, the child's balloon
Eclipses both the sun and moon
To understand you know too soon
There is no sense in trying
Pointed threats, they bluff with scorn
Suicide remarks are torn
From the fool’s gold mouthpiece
The hollow horn plays wasted words
Proved to warn
That he not busy being born
Is busy dying."

Dylan is foremost a poet....a literary music man......and he just keeps on ticking like a Timex

He’s my favorite. I love him. I listen to him for hours on end.

Have you seen his paintings? He’s also a fabulous painter!

and he is a sculptor .....he has a metal shop.....he builds huge things like fancy privacy gates too

First time I heard him sing I thougth he sounded aawful. That was back around Mt. Vernon square; Oops' please pardon dupelicate reply

First time I heard him sing was 1963 at Mount Vernon Square when I was "Tangled up in blue". I could not understand why anyone liked him? The music was coming through an open window at the Peabody Institute off Music. "I was so much older then" , I'm younger than that now"...Happy Birthday Mr. Zimmerman. Thank you for the music.
