yeah, I have to go with the peach

nectarines are nice but they've had all the flavor bred out of them in favor of making an attractive product for the storeshelves

The best peaches I ever ate grew on two bushy Alberta trees in front of my home when I was a kid. They were small but had a perfect peachy taste. They also make terrific ice-cream. I love homemade peach ice-cream.

very clever, l-rod, influencing public opinion by introducing prejudicial sensory associations. Peach ice cream. Who could resist?

all would be nectarine voters - please disregard the preceding post.

and no, i did not say "peach ice cream".

alberta tree in front yard. ah, front yard fruit....mmmmm

(a- napkin or shirt? i'd say - hand, unless of course a napkin materialized out of nowhere)

thanks for your votes, people. rustle on up to the polls, please.

Nectarine. Nectarine.
The fruit that suits a gal named doreen.
Nectarine. Ripe and sweet!
My pallette is quenched! My summertime treat.

Skin so smooth, so taut, so young!
Like a lover's, fresh on the tongue!
I don't need to convince you by beg or preach...
No sticky fuzz! Not like a peach!

Nectarine. Nectarine.
The fruit that suits a gal named doreen.

nice pome, dor'...

jud-e - i'll have to go with the peach, altho the nectarine is mighty fine, that durn peach just drools like no other - down my lips, my chin, and onto my forearm as i wipe those sweet, lovely juices into my own flesh... ah! peachy!!

These important fruit decisions really draw out the crowds! :D

I of course am drawing to the peach.

Peachy keen is the peach!

The only draw back the peach has for me is it's fuzz....yuchhh....
I like my peaches clean shaven and quite nude, peeled so that all the sweet and juicey goodness is exposed to my tongue......yum!

Ahhhh, to be a peach would be sweet!
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

I preach for da peach,
tho nectarines are cool,
fuzzy wuzzy peach bites,
bring on a better drool.....

ah yes, let us be counted!
peach -impeach, beseech - at the beach

nectarine - submarine, seventeen sheen

poetry knows its fruit
thanks to the toe dancing nectador
the mousey one who likes your fuzz elsewhere (or am i being presumptuous?)
hester - a woman who knows her liquid fuel
cecil - a messy eater who jumps into his chosen object

so revealing. how appealing

now, what about the rest of us? who here has not put a dot in a spot?

deb? whitebird? jim? truckin? artguy? tilly? (surely it's time for a fruit break somewhere around the planet) -and the rest of the june crowd? step on up.

Since it can't be pomegranate, it has got to be peach.
Everything is surreal and i'm still not sure which decision I'll make.

peach cleverly disguised as part of one's normal facial regimen - how smooth, artguy

aquestion - yes, pomegranate - i know, i do. And SooZ and Cecil have been found waxing divine about that fertile fruit.

but yes, we are what we are when we are and i thank you for overcoming your gut instinct to play this particular round.

nec
when it comes to fruit He prefers firm skin rather than soft
He also prefers vivacious colors instead of hazy ones, wich is another reason for Him to choose nec
although He thinks you should be choosing peach
such is His sublime opinion
your majesty
