doreen and I had a nice few days of relaxation in the mountains.
we're back now for a few more days of relaxation before the old grind starts grinding again.
so today, I relaxed and recorded this tune

Welcome back wild children of the mountains

--- (supposed to be a mountain man face, yet oddly enough, looks more like a person who is doing battle with some problematic bum blockage)
Not a bad little recording LR, would have preffered it solo, found the keyboards a little distracting in places, but nonetheless enjoyed your rendition...thanks for sharing it Clay....laters to your gators.

Her Glorious Bohemian vacation.
she left it at the station,
Will check our Clay's vibrato
Trevzilla's critique Sfumato
blended smoky trans·lu·cence...
but I dig that bit about
problematic bum blockage,
sure don't hear it in the tunes,
another song I gotta learn to sing,..
http://maui.globat.com/~waynebiro-creat ... HINGS.html
ok so now am singing along
"And little by little my heavy heart sings . . .
And then I don't feel so bad . . . "
La dee da, la dee da,
La dee da, da,
next stop step outside
for my show in the street
and ray zilla will send you the bill.

i guess you could say that i have also "returned" from a "vacation".
although it seems more like i was just existing somewhere that wasnt the place where i had left. Montreal for a year. It was certainly a learning experience. Now that I am back near the ocean, I feel better.
I met some very interesting individuals, I got jumped by gang members, drank beer with an alcohol percent level that should be available worldwide, saw and felt snow everyday for 4 months with temperatures going as low as -28 (celsius), learned to read french, executed my first head butt in a self defense situation, learned the art of laying bricks and cement finishing, got my first lap dance, smoked the most awsome weed at the foot of a huge mountain while listening to the fantastic sound of one hundred drums being beaten with two hundred hands, learned that oil will cause a fire if you leave it unattended, saw a smart car, talked with and drank with two members of the Hells Angels, saw the inside of a Canadian holding cell, had great sex at the highest mountain peak in the city, killed a squirrel, learned how to play foosball, witnessed the Jazz Festival from a VIP standpoint, and thats all I can remember this fast right now.
all things behind me now........I cant wait to leave again and head out on my next vacation.

yes.
every sunday when the weather was warm enough.
all my travels have never placed my eyes in a position to see such harmony amongst humans. It was not surreal. It was fucking real.
No matter what number of beers in me, no matter what number of joints toked, i was always able to meet a crew who was as i was.
poetry circles, hacky sack circles, just circles of people able to talk with minds wide open. I cant get back into Canada for ten years (according to the law) but I will never foget Sundays at the foot of Mt. Royal.

Say punk why can't I remember that poem you wrote, or maybe it was firsty, my geezer mind could not stand a vacation. If I take more then a half hour for lunch I have no memory of what ever I was doing before I broke for lunch. Head butt is good weapon of self defense I think. I don't know why I think of you as a punk, probably age-ism on my part, but I mean something more then just an adolescent circus elephant that punched me out in Montreal. It is a world spirit, punk. The only time I see me young friend happy is when he tries to tell me what punk is. I think you ain't no spring chicken anymore was it you who turned thirty or firsty. And where the fuk is marksman45, I missed him too. Just saying Hi
and speaking of saying Howdy
Just wanted to say welcome back LR, I wish you would stay the hell out of my dreams.

man just got to use them sometimes, chick things that they are

Prison dreams, I can always tell when my blood sugar is wacked, nightmares, my blood sugar was three seventy nine that morning. I tell you bro sugar is a drug, and dreams are cheap entertainment. I been posting a lot again, feels good. Got the new J.O.B. jitters. nice gig at the rosewater foundation. I have not listened to your tune yet. saving it for later
in friendship

most times i cant even write a myku.
as for my adventures "so far"......
shit, man if i had the desire, i could write the anarchist nomads encyclopedia on spontaneous travels as seen through a shcizophrenic
eye. But i dont. i think i'll just keep on doing what i do, telling stories that no one believes could be true.

I thought Yab Yum was off in Tibet or Shambhala,
wondered why his kundalini silk road travelling soul hadn't found his way into this highway tea house.
I butted heads with a colonel once.
Sat outside his office one afternoon, waiting
to be cursed, he chickened out,
left me there at 5 PM,
the road going angel in the baseball cap
was waiting as I drove out the base
told me what to do.
Next thing ya know I was hightailed outa there
tripping in the high desert mountains.
Have a cup of tea!
maybe.

adventure, dave, cannot intertwine with me.
no thing can. no word can. no human can.
(well, there were two women who did)
but thats all just a story trapped in my mind unleashed through words intertwined with metaphor and other words that wash it clean into make believe. seeing is not believing. believing is knowing what you see is temporary. believing is walking away. believing is starting it all over again, then again, and yet, then again.
adventure is a Patrick Swayze movie.
my life is is.
