"Fear Factor"
"Fear Factor"
I’m confused about the concepts of this reality show, “Fear Factor” and what it really means. Perhaps it’s the reality that when all the food runs out we are all going to have to resort to getting bugs. Talk about reality giving you a new out look on a hot dog everyone doesn’t want to know what it’s made of, only it’s an American favorite. Next time I see a bug I’m going to look close and see if there’s a bar code on it as an indication of future events on my dinner plate. The facts that those contestants have to do dangerous acts and then eat worms or maggots without getting sick sort of hits a note of familiarity of what life is becoming and in the name of entertainment. When I’ve worked my butt off to buy food and found the morning cereal I ate had worms only after eating a few bowls full makes me wonder if reality isn’t somehow mocking me.

Heh.
It's one big Fear factor reality show isn't it?
Hosted by the intelligent, eloquent messenger of God, George W (hick) Bush!
Starring you and me.
Better we be in fear than anger!
Oh that dreadful anger!
The harshness of truth!
The gross ugliness of honesty!
blech! don't touch me!
Never fear dears!
Fear is here!
It's the easy way out!
Everybody's doin it!
Wheeeeeeee!
Feardom will set you free!
Let feardom ring!
In all it's glorious pomp,
and circum...um um um.....
stance.

(PS: I made that word feardom up. Cool eh?)

The world's financial markets are about a psychology of fear....
what might go up, what might go down....
The world's foreign policies are about a psychology of fear....
Who might rise up, who should be put down....
My own will to live amounts to psychologies of fear....
where I was then, where I am now....
.... not a very enlightened bunch, are we?

Heck, of course it's more important to finance fear rather than promote the naked truth...the masses are better equipped to be given sugar coated versions. At least that's what "they" think. No point in such a thing as universal education on all levels to help disseminate apathy and ignorance.
feardom...yah, that is a cool word

feardom...yah, that is a cool word
Everything is surreal and i'm still not sure which decision I'll make.
