I used to feel sorry for Hector. The way the goddess left him to die like a fox on the run. But lately I been feeling that maybe he had it coming. The only reason he stood his ground with Achilles was because Athene tricked him with the light so that he thought he had his brother there with him. Two to one odds were more to his liking then facing Achilles man to man. War is obsolete. Not the honarable tradition of Samurai warriors anymore, only a stupid super power would start them anymore. Praise the lord and pass the ammunition
The Asiatics (the trojans) could not understand why the Greeks would mount such a huge military campaign for the sake of one girl. Something they would never have bothered about. Women in the western tradition, women in the eastern, northern, southern, they all seem to be working towards the same changes. Must be that unstable mitochondrial dna of theirs. spinning new possibilites new futures, cultural revolution seems to spread faster for them. But the dragoon lady with her murderous red guards makes me careful not to stereotype women except for the fact that they got more complex genetic codes than men. And cultural anthropologist wantatobe that I am I know war is obsolete, eventual one way or the other they will wind up or down one way or the other. Culture can change in a heart beat, we still wired for stone age survival, new stone age that is.
