Rosario is up river from Buenos Aires, folks, a million folks there, lovely city.

we don't need another war for a geography lesson, my fellow Americans.

Jaimeloco

ps how about some eye candy from your city?

jimbo: I only have two photos of Rosario at home: I have a lot of photos from places I visited but not from where I live, so take some can be interesting.

Yesterday, a friend of mine gave me a beautiful card with a text by Eduardo Galeano that I like very much:

A-One: oui? croissant? omelette? Blanchot? (these are some of my french words!).

jimbo: the text it´s not mine. It´s Galeano´s text. Eduardo Galeano and Mario Benedetti are beautiful old men from Uruguay that still write. Galeano used to write about spanish-delicatessen that he found in his way through latin america. We are far away from the Caribe here so we are not so floridos in our ways to say things. Amigo is amigo or "che, vos..." or the first sylabes from his/her name.
Are you trying to say "gárgara"??. It´s a difficult one.
