Tunnel Vision?
Tunnel Vision?
Moi?
This is the centre of the universe.
My tribe is gathered around me.
Behold me.
I AM.

I AM.
no really though, you got a scenario for us, friend?
like, why did someone (whoever that someone was) chide you for having a so-called "tunnel vision"? or why do you think someone did?
in other words, curious G here requests an elaboration on the matter.

Everything is surreal and i'm still not sure which decision I'll make.
Well, truth is, friend, you piqued my curiosity the other day when you mentioned a thread at Another Community. Something about me being provocative or something. Anyway, went to check it out and one post (which seems to have since disappeared, unless I just overlooked it recently) said something about not much caring for my tunnel vision. I didn't know what it meant, that's all. I don't really think of myself as having tunnel vision, quite the opposite, in fact. I'm passionate about open-mindedness, if my vision is tunnelled toward open-mindedness then so be it, but obviously you can see the contradiction of terms.
This is the centre of the universe.

hmm...well, as things seem to be all relative, the tunnel vision comment provided by whoever it was, is just one that came as a result of one person's perspective. NOt like you didn't know that already...
I guess, as much as I respect a person's right to have their own opinion, just as much as I've a right my own as well, I still feel that it's too bad that that person wasn't able to come to know you beyond the point of accusing you of possessing a tunnelled/tunneled vision.
in fact I find that downright weird. course I'm biased in that I don't think you've got tunnel vision at all, but... *shrugs*

It's funny how people think they're talking "privately" when they're talking on the internet stupid highway. LOL! No, not you two. That's not what I mean. I mean somebody gets the ax at Another Community (nice one twitchers) for whatever vagueries or sins and nobody but a sparse handful of government appointees have one iota of information about why, then comes the public opinion poll where citizens speak out for or against the criminal who has already been put to death without the benefit of trial by jury and since many think he or she is dead, they figure they can talk behind his or her back "privately", throwing in accolades to the government as a kissass gesture, while the dead ain't dead at all, as you know, and therefore have perfectly good ears to hear the public private conversation. I wonder what people say about me "behind my back." Nah... actually, I don't really care. I'm sure I'll read about it one day in a public private conversation on the freaking internet. Rambling... sorry. Just woke up.
Tunnel vision? Ugh. If you've got tunnel vision, Rat Bag, I hope it's a contagious disease. We'd all be lucky to catch it so we could see as many different sides of various issues and ideas as you do.

Yes, these things are always metaphors for something!
And I too have noticed that I am rather animated.

still, you don't know anything about me except what I post on this board. You would be wise not to take everything I write literally, if you do you will have a rather skewed view. I take large measures of poetic license! As I'm sure do you! So I don't know what you're going on about but knock it off will ya!!! And I mean that in the nicest way.
and I shall write on....thank-you.
ps: My next poem is going to be about humping an alligator....let me tell you afore time....it didn't happen!!!!
Be well.
