Our eleven year old is quite smart and precocious. In the past year I have persuaded her to occasionally watch the news with me on television. (As a trade, I watch American Idol and some of the fanzine shows with her.)

The other day we were watching the ABC News when that Levitra commercial that anyone who has ever watched the ABC News has seen. You know the one with the very seductive 40ish woman with the sexy dimples is talking about the (bats eyes) "quality of the experience. Again and again (she sighs)."

Then the announcer comes in with a subdued voice-over and says, ""In the rare case that an erection lasts more than four hours, Seek immediate medical attention."

My eleven year old guru and news partner gave me a puzzled looked and asked the obvious question: "What does he mean by a four-hour erection?"

I was at a loss as to what to tell her. (the old, "I'll tell you when you get older." ploy has not worked for some time.)

What would you have said?

reply : "A man in a great deal of pain."


If that line (...four hour erection) isn't a cum on.. err, come on to buy their pill, well, blow my horn and call me dizzy. I personally could stand to have an erection for four hours... and neither could Soo. I could hear her now - "What the hell you gonna do with that thing for another 3 1/2 hours?" Having an erection for that long doesn't guarantee four hours of orgasms much less ejaculations. I wonder how many guys realize that..? O well, the pharms are keeping things up for their profit margins, eh?
