Hey Geoff, it is not about anybody being greater than anybody else. We are all unique and evolving beings.

I just saw the flick about Ritchie Valens this afternoon."La Bamba".... He was a talented prodigy. His older half-brother was always jealous and at times resentful, yet he had his own talents, yet he did not believe in himself, in his basic worth as a human being. That is where it starts. Everything else follows.

Love you, man.

cool
can't wait
(this aint sarcasm)
go ahead Mr Death
blow my mind
it's been some time since anyone did

although
if you ask me
you already are the best writer of all of us
but you're afraid to admit it
cause if you did
you wouldn't be talking shit when people don't agree with your work
I consider myself a very good artist
I don't care if people don't like what I do
because whatever people think, they will seldom understand fully
what my intention was when I traced the lines on paper or into thin air
they only see an image of me, what they want to see of me
so their opinions don't really matter
although it can also be a powerful souce of inspiration, just like anything else that comes from other people
it isn't a question of being happy or miserable when people praise or talk shit about your art
it's more a matter of using what people say, as an input, in order to go where you want to take yourself
you're the artist, so as your art is about you, and no one else
thinking about you before others, asking yourself "have I achieved what I wanted?" instead of "have I impressed anyone with this?"
is more coherent
and makes you achieve greater results
just my pov

I am drunk and hollow too, at least by my own standards.

I believe that, eventually, a widespread religion built on this hopeless, sincere, multifaceted platform might bring us dangerously close to the promised land.

So count me in, even though I know I will never quite make it from here to there.

now i know you are all better than me
you are just afraid to admit t.

hoo haaH

that "drunk and hollow" imagery

i know the feeling.

but the drunk just exacerbated my hollowness
before

now i am a happy drunk because
i am happy
but i did a lot of growing
since the old hollow days

and painful they were too
a testament to survival and growth and healing

you too can be a happy drunkard.....

Aye, the moments of drunk and hollow,
where bloody life drowns in a swallow,
and I the best
of all the rest,
in misery evermore wallow.......

A toast to Alexanderdeath, the Great.

what you really are saying
I do not know
and really never will
I am blind you see
blind to myself and therefore to others
and thus begins the saga of
THE DRUNK
buk says it
and kerouac trys to hide
it neal never was
and hated his father--or should of

as doreen said text hides true meaning of everything
I find it amazing that you all have got me right, everyone of you!!

and just for the record I in no way think I am the best writer on here, but Yabyum, man I think you could really do something with this shit--I mean that, and maybe it is because he is the only one I understand, I don`t know...
