"Go ahead. Talk about it."

New Orleans under poisoned water, the coastal cities from Louisiana to Alabama trashed, Hurricane Ophelia 70 miles off the east coast of Florida just sittin' there spinning away waitin'... a war in Iraq, gas prices at an all time high, natural gas going up just in time for winter. And all that's just a beginning.

I'll bet ya a dime to a donut that Dubya wishes he never got into office. Who would've ever expected this shit?

Go ahead. Talk about it.

Well, mtmynd:

His Most Dyslexic Majesty DUB II was on the radio today expressing his profound concern for "his people's" welfare.

He mumbled a prepared script and then ducked back in his X-tra "Tite" Comfortzonemobile. I only heard a fragment of his speech while I potboiled my split pea soup for lunch.

Subject/input: Feed any disaster into the Spin Complex.

Translation/output: "Everything is coming together, and we're working hard for the American people"...

Dubya? He's somewhere between unfazed and glazed, I imagine. Dubco generally invents its own suitable version of reality. No need to stress over the actual details.

BBC reports twenty five thousand body bags have been shipped to New Orleans. The Brit used the word delusional to describe the situation. The dead bodies are still laying in the street rotting, he said he became obsessed with filming them, walked around all day filming dead bodies. He asked every one he met will they be picking up the dead bodies. Nope, cops nope, national guard nope, some ems guys from Kentucky who nothing to do except take pictures to send back home, nope. I don't watch TV, is this on TV, is CNN showing the rotting corpses or is it just some British morbidity. DO you think it is odd that they are leaving bodies rotting bodies. Don't worry about BUsh he will be fine. He loves his job as the leader of the free world. Just remember the words of old harry s t. the buck stops there. Spin spin spin, the buck stops down south somewhere. The govenor, the mayor, the munchkins. You under estimate him. He counts on that. Every thing is good, and getting better for him. The dow jones is up, and gas came down a penny a gallon. Jobs is on the way. Oh no don't worry about Bush he loves his job, and we love him. my president with god on his side.

The US government agency leading the rescue efforts after Hurricane Katrina said on
Tuesday it does not want the news media to take photographs of the dead as they are
recovered from the flooded New Orleans area.

Asked to say a few words from the pulpit, Rice, a preacher's daughter, said: "The Lord Jesus Christ is going to come on time." She added: "If we just wait."

Rice visited relief centers where she packed boxes and loaded cars with food and water. She also toured a gymnasium where survivors were camped out with everything they owned.
