We were the first rock and roll generation
In 1954 when black artists finally made it to main stream AM radio
He takes forty years off me
whenever I hear him
"I Lived My Life" now!
I live my life to please myself
Don't worry about nobody else
If you love the life you live, live it all by yourself
I go to work, yes every day
But when it's night I long to play
