Butt seriously. I assed you all this question for a reason. I really don't understand what the point is. I'd like your take on it.
Is the point to keep asking what the point is or is there another point which I'm missing? If I wore a hat, would the point be less visible? I realize this is a pointed question and I hate to trouble you with it, but I have appointed myself the asker of such questions and so I am therefore pointing to you for direction. Feel free to point to links for answers, if you'd like, or appoint yourself the asker of additional questions or answer pointedly if you'd like.
Thank you.

offhand, and being fresh into the morning,
i humbly suggest that there is no point
yet it is an amusing endeavour to search for it
not a pessimistic outlook, not at all,
but rather a well-informed leap into absurdity
there must be a suitable Gertrude Stein quote for what i'm saying,
but (butt) i'm too ass-bound lazy to search.
that's another point: the search is embarked upon willingly, but only the good paths. My enthusiasm is far from boundless. i like my adventures ripe and juicy.
what ch'u been thinking, dor?

i don't think the point is to ask what the point is...i think its to ask two questions 1. how best to live for humanity 2. how best to live for me...some people think the answer for each question is the same others dissagree...and then if you think there different you have to deside which medium you want to set yourself too....or what combination it doesn't have to be one way or the other.
you know like public good and private good...those are the important questions.

if there is a point
it's not impointant
I wouldn't point you in the wrong direction
art is only connecting the dots
from point to point
am I making my point?

judih- There IS no point? Oh noooooooo..... that's absurd!

You're kidding, of course, I'm sure. "There ain't no answer. There ain't going to be any answer. There never has been an answer. That's the answer" - Gertrude Stein. I guess she agreed with you.

If this is the case, I'm extremely disappointed. I do find it depressing. I'm thinking there MUST be SOME point to all of it! Maybe if I stopped asking what the point is, I'd discover what it is. Or at least figure out what it isn't. That would be helpful.
K&D - Maybe you're right. The point is, I want answers so how do I get them if I don't ask? I was always taught that if you want an answer, you ask a question. I'm sure it doesn't have to be one way or another. I think there are probably several points. Maybe dozens. It isn't out of the realm of possibility, that there are hundreds. But I really doubt there are thousands.
I've been thinking that the point is just this.... to DO IT. Because we have to. We have no choice. That's one of the points, I think.

Lightning Rod - I've been connecting the dots for so long, I've formed multiple intricate patterns intertwined with each other and I can't find my original dot. Nor can I find any reason for the connections. I want to erase the dots and start all over.
