I think I read the spanish translation thanks to DP post to the double of this. I think I got it. Most of it. How is it here? All those rumors could be true for all I know. The latino is the fastest growing minority here> it may be the majority of the voters. (if they all registered to vote) From the Texicans I talk to I have not met any that have any use for him. I mean they think he is worse than useless. There is a woman coming on strong (IMHO) Barbara Boxer, she is gifted with a powerful speaking voice. She is going to take control of the democratic party and get to the bottom of the lies behind the Iraq invasion. I have heard women politicians that can't get the anger and determination in their voice with out squealing. I have not heard Eva Peron speak. Maybe I am just thinking of a woman named Smeal who headed NOW a few years ago. Boxer has a better voice than Hillary. I think she will resonate with men too..
so I have my hopes up for 2006.
that is how it is in the republic of texas. the republic of desire.

geez we are lucky we are not living on Biblical Land here. Spent two weeks locked up with latinos, a lot of them spoke very good english, dam near perfect. But most of the conversations were in Spanish one in a while they would lapse into English when searching for a word. They are close to the Old Country, but they all seemed happy to have been born in the USA even if their great great great grandparents were born here before there was any USA. THey just inherited their citizenship. No they had no desire to live in Mexico. I kept asking why is Mexico so poor? Why all the corruption, and I think about tomorrow. And how dumb I was yesterday.
I have no idea what you said about the republic of desire, sounded like condolences, commisseration? I should translate. No it ain't so bad here, I love texas one of those second chance states, just look at Bush, yes I love texas, it is just Texans I can't stand. Except for Cecil and Clay,
take care
keep the faith
