Passions --> Virtues

I began reading Thus Spake Zarathustra by Nietzsche the other day.

I think it was in there that I read about the origin of virtues. That is, that our virtues grew out of our passions.

What do you think of that?

There are some awesome quotes that I might add later.

But best that you just read the whole thing right now.

Go on. Tell me what you think.

Is that the one where he recomends Western Civilization is the apex of human evolution and as the Ubbermanch we ought not to have any moral reservations about dominating other cultures as there is no right and no wrong? Or is it about the Parsies, Zoroastranism, or whatever. I've never read anything by this fellow but sort of had some of his ideas digested for me by others and then they served the to me. Give us some quotes of his, will you?
