:)

smoke them if you got them :P .

I looked it up but forgot when I am supposed to die. Seemed like I hardly had enough time left to figure out how to die.

According to the deathclock, I'm going to die on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 .. (I'm assuming that means if I keep smoking and keep my weight down.)

So that means I will be 73 years old when I die and it gives me 21 years to plan the funeral.

I promise not to be in view and as a matter of fact, I'll make sure I'm all burned up before you arrive.

Who wants to help me plan the event? I envision live jazz music and an open bar. I'd like to do it somewhere where it's warm in February... in the Carribean maybe. Casual attire.

But come to think of it, since I won't be there, maybe someone else would like to help with arranging the shindig. It really won't matter to me one bit what you wear, where you celebrate or what type of music is played.

I'll only ask for one caviat .... no laptop computers and no cell phones. If you come to celebrate, I want you to be all there, not in any way cyberly connected to anybody, only personally physically connected with all of the others who arrive ready to celebrate my departure.

I also will need someone to help with the bonfire arrangements. I'd like to have you burn all of my writings at the soiree, so I'll need to start sending hard copies to someone who plans on being there and wants to be in charge of the flames.

Mark your calendars. Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Let's do the party on Saturday night, Feb 28th, OK? (Unless, of course, you have other plans. I'll understand. No problem. I know this is sorta short notice. No RSVP necessary anyway.)

Shit, it told me I died seven years ago.

I'll admit I ain't been feelin' all tha hot, lately, but I don't think it's as serious as Death Clock makes it out to be.

january 24th, 2062 for me.
i'll be 92 then.

i've just been to the doc for a check-up (the insurances want 'old' folks (35+) to do that regularily), and he said i'd have good chances to become 95+.

hm.

December 2, 2048.

wow, yesterday was the anniversary of my eventual death. And i celebrated by living!

My first reaction was that i'm glad that the weather's warm here around that date. Dying in the cold seems like a drag.

I'm long dead already
as all poets must be

these words do not make me a poet
these eyes make me a poet

If I can't have love give me bitter fame. paraphrase from memory.

Poor old gypsy joker the blind truck driver I had such hopes for that sock puppet.

One eyed poet in A Canticle For Leibowitz, he must have had you and yabby in mind.
