It's official! I got me a cherry job!!!!!!

Fucking hell and glorious chance!
I just got a call that sealed the deal for a new job that pays a fucking really decent wage and is 40 hours a week!
I'll be working as a Ward Clerk at the care center I used to work at...doing and keeping up the medical records, scheduling shifts,
overseeing supplies, etc, etc, etc.

Plus, I'll be able to go up to the resident's social room and belt out a few songs with them whenever I want to.

Work I love, in a field I love. New things to learn, to take me further into the field of elder care.

This is indeed a lucky, happy day for me.
I had no idea the position even existed until they called me on Friday asking if I was interested in it.
I start tommorrow morning at 8am.
PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!
:D
Man, you've no idea how glad I am for this chance.
I thank the universe very deeply.

It's been hell for me, as some of you know, these past couple of years, getting by, by the seat of my pants.......

Wow.
Pardon my elation!
I am just really really amazed and grateful.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Congratulations, Hester!

Sorry this is three days late in coming but I've not been getting computer access for a few days and I've been busy too.

I am SOOOOO happy for you!!!! :D

I used to do medical records and I enjoyed it. I learned a lot by reading the charts and doing the coding for them. You will get to do the people part as well, and I know that's what you're good at.

YAY!!!

My heart hurt for you before when you described your struggles. I hope that your new job makes things better. Your worth is obviously recognized ... :D
