yes, there will be a summit meeting between some of the most insignificant representatives of the U.S. and Canada this Thursday.

knip is coming to visit doreen and I at Studio Eight World Headquarters.

The Canadian military is flying him to Washington for the purpose of this highly sensitive meeting.

The NSA is undoubtedly monitoring all communications regarding this meeting, since it is an international exchange. Any one of the three could be working for Al Queda.

Pictures will follow.

Just reporting in

We had a wonderful evening with knip.

We picked him up at the Sheraton in Tyson's Corner, just outside DC.

Since he was on a secret mission for the Canadian government, he was wearing his secret agent trench coat.

About a mile down the road, we established the fact that we were all smokers, so we lit up.

Back at Studio Eight World Headquarters, I had Canadian beer waiting. Knip wasn't shy about sharing it.

We tuned up the guitar. We drank another Molson.

Knip is what I call a real human being. We made music with no rehearsal.

We talked of family and common friends and I must say it was a supremely satisfying evening.

Then we made some more music and poetry.

here is the evidence:

Wish I could have been there.

I don't play an instrument, though.... I rap.

So maybe it's just as well....

Looks as tho a grand time was had by all... and Knip (add the 'k', eh? K'nip as in 'K'nuck...), singing one of my favorite Van songs (and there are many) was masterfully done. Kudos, K'nip, for your good taste in music, amigo!
