Ten four Cecil, thinking about Haiku weather reports when I wrote it. Hope you are all doing okay.
a whiff
just a scent
wet dust
a mist’
just enough
water and oil
No rain in weeks
Roads dirty
with grease and oil
. Thinking about this Sunday’s stream and what I have learned. What I know. Spent my life staring at the road ahead.
No hope for a Zen practice at this late date. , but just enough hope to be a want to be. I got a audio book about the Dalai Lama I was hoping to hear his voice but it is narrated by somebody else. Meanwhile I have become a
Bokononist.
“What Can a Thoughtful Man Hope for Mankind on Earth, Given the Experience of the Past Million Years?”
That is the title of the 14th book of Bokonon. It is a very short book. Consisting of one word,
“Nothing.”
Just trapped in the illusion of progress. Thinking about the millions of babies born everyday. They tell me that is God’s way of saying the world should continue.
Interesting article in the Sunday Express News. “The upside of Downs.” Trying to think of something funny to say. Well one bit of good news, I heard from Perezoso a couple days ago. Happy to report he is okay.
Bokonon is from the Vonnegut novel Cat’s Cradle
