What do you feel when you're writing,
Can you describe it?
Do you think that nobody experiences the same thing you do when you're writing?
Is there a point where you totally forget what you're doing?
Is part of what you're experiencing intimate when you're writing? If so, isn't it contradictory as it is destined to be read by other people?
Do you get high on it?
And if you do, does the high persist after you wrote?

What do you feel when you're writing,
Can you describe it?
I feel like I am in touch with something that is over the horizon of my consciousness.
Do you think that nobody experiences the same thing you do when you're writing?
I think I am absolutely unique just like everyone else.
Is there a point where you totally forget what you're doing?
Yes, when it is right when I am flowing I have no idea what I am writing. No idea if it makes anysense at all. Almost like aphasia, I can write but I can’t read, just like the bear in the Pogo comic strip.
Is part of what you're experiencing intimate when you're writing? If so, isn't it contradictory as it is destined to be read by other people?
Maybe so, when I am replying to your post I am thinking of you.
Do you get high on it?
I always think I write best when I am stoned on maryjewwanna, but it is just the drug euphoria I am sure.
And if you do, does the high persist after you wrote?
Not always, sometimes I have poster’s remorse.
I have not been stoned for a month, sober as a judge and I am writing with out a crutch. Just so happy to be breathing.

eary morning sunshine
my shadow on the wall
I feel the days starting earlier
the darkness is fading
my hope of seeing one more spirng
rises

"What do you feel when you're writing,"

I feel a pen between my fingers.

"Can you describe it?"

It's usually thin, round and dribbles black.

"Do you think that nobody experiences the same thing you do when you're writing?

Yes, I'm pretty sure we're unanimouse.

"Is there a point where you totally forget what you're doing?"

Yes, sometimes I'll pause in mid-squiggle and look around and wonder..."where the hell am I?"

"Is part of what you're experiencing intimate when you're writing? If so, isn't it contradictory as it is destined to be read by other people?"

It's extremely fucking intimate...but we're all voyeures at heart so, eh, what the hell!"

"Do you get high on it?"

As a kite!

"And if you do, does the high persist after you wrote?"

Yes, but I'm pretty sure it's the ink...I'm an ink sniffer don't ya know!

I do hope I was most helpful in my answers. I know I certainly learned a thing or two myownself. :?

Stilltrucking, thanks for your answer. Some things you said were interesting.

Alexanderdeath, I'm allowed to make spelling mistakes because I live in a country where people don't speak English (or very little). So there.
Thanks for the tip!

Arcadia, if you find any sexual content in my questions, it isn't sexual content, at least not specifically.

Mousey, thanks for the laugh!

I was looking for answers like stilltrucking's because I want to understand what happens to me when I write.
Thing is, it's extremely hard for me to observe myself when I write, because at some point I'm automatically overwhelmed by what I'm writing, and stop observing myself, even if I set it as an objective beforehand.
Which leaded me to ask other writers to talk about what happened to them when they wrote, in order to "understand" writing better, in order to understand myself better, in order to carry on with my personal developing. blah dee-blah dee-blah. *conk face*

What do I feel?...my fingers pressing the keys.

I do think others experience what i do when i write/create, etc. for we humans do share experiences.

I have points of forgetfulness in all that I do (and more often the older I get) but I know that is not what you are asking...I just had a brain fart. Hah! When you are in the act of writing/creating (any kind of art) and it is flowing, you are in the stream...I never forget what I am doing when I am flowing...it is the not flowing that causes me difficulty.

The next question...ask that Frey guy about it! Yeppers, it is an intimate process for me, very intimate so that's why I don't want to be famous (and flogged) where every word I write is dissected like a bug. I know that many authors are very, very private people who just have to write and shun the limelight, understandably. Sorry, I got carried away here. Hah! All writing is intimate or it doesn't have heart. I think one must do what is authentic for oneself and let everyone else deal.

Do I get high on IT? Yes, regularly.

Does the high persist? Hopefully...I like reading my stuff, I like what I create. I am a careful crafter of my art. I refine, edit and then present my best or it never sees light...

Good Questions T, Thanks.

High Mousey...you made me laugh too!

Jack...I can understand you (must be the sobriety)...great answers dude.
