and we had a new construction: a galería that connected the salones with the entrada-salida and the bathrooms. It has a fibroplast or something roof, hot in summer but good for the rain. The recreos in rainy days would be there and not only inside the salones, wich is great. It took six years to build it, but now is ready.

Six years seems a long time to undergo the construction process. How did you maintain your sanity amidst all the dust and noise during those years?

oh... I don´t know... I read Viktor Frankl at 6:30 AM every morning but I´m afraid it didn´t work... and who tell you that I´m sane?
well, in fact, it took six years to reach the money with the community. It also took a long time until the college authorities decided to start the construction. The building-work itself lasted only some weeks (and yes, we always have a weird relationship with time in these lands). It was noisy and dusty anyway during the six years... and it will keep being noisy and dusty, no doubt, but with more covered space. The mild and not rainy days never were a problem (well, to tell the truth most of the time it seemed to be an adult problem: most of the kids, specially boys, enjoyed standing under the rain and in the mud and they never cared about the too much rain or the too much cold or hot). We have a beautiful complete manzana plenty of trees and plants for the recreos and to do other activities. And the galería has only roof so we can still watch the landscape (that´s why maybe we keep being a bit disperse, but it doesn´t matter).
